My message is simple – the current political system is broken. We currently have a government with 100% of the power that was elected with under 34% of the votes in the 2024 General Election. In fact, no government has actually received a majority of public votes since the end of World War 2. This isn’t what a genuine representative democracy looks like, and it is a symptom of our broken electoral system that both Labour and the Conservatives refuse to address.

The system at the moment doesn’t work. Our democracy is broken, because it almost always boils down to a choice between Conservative and Labour, both of which have very similar manifestos and both of which are currently committed to keeping this broken system. I firmly value the idea of democratic representation. That means that I want your votes to actually determine the amount of power a party has. On this website, I’m hoping to write regular updates on my activism and views of both local and national issues. If you would like to bring an issue to my attention, please let me know and I will do what I can to look into it. If you would like me to come and talk to your group, again I would be very happy to do this.
Separately, I am starting to record a podcast where I talk political and economic issues with people that actually face them, and we try to collectively reason how best we would solve the issues currently facing the country and its citizens. If you are interested, you can find out more right here on my site or get in touch with me using the contact form.
